Running Late on Posting but This Might Help Somebody

I can't pull it together. Just can't. Brain has put out the no-cognition light.

I have to respect that. Cuz I've sat here for three hours and everything is going wrong.

In the meantime, A gem from a man who reminds us it ain't always about binary thinking. Especially if your digit is stuck at 1.

And look, don't get you panties twisted because it doesn't apply to you. Or you do the opposite. Or you don't believe in therapy.

If this helps you, great.
If not, wait for it. It will come.

Show 117 - FDA Mandatory Recall of Herbal Supplement

Wanted to give folks a heads up about a mandatory recall of a herbal supplement product used by folks that have anxiety and depression disorders. The FDA has issued a mandatory recall on Kratom herbal supplements from specific vendors because of possible Salmonella contamination.

So in this show there is a brief description of the recall, what is Kratom and what it does for folks and another source that provide positive and negative benefits of using the supplement.

If you need support contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255, the Trevor Project at 1-866-488-7386 or text “START” to 741-741.

Resources Mentioned:

There is also a Recalls, Market Withdrawals, & Safety Alerts FDA recall page that list the most recent product recalls with the names of the vendor so you can check out if there is a possibility of concern.

The publication Food Safety News has a write up of the recall effort; there is more than one article More Kratom Capsules Recalled for Salmonella Amid Outbreak gives some of the alternate names of the herb and what the packages look like.

KratomIQ is a informational site that provides basic information about Krantom, the benefits and potential for abuse by users and by some vendors of the product. I am suggesting it as a place to read about positive and potentially negative information about the supplement. Be aware that the site does have affiliate relationships with some vendors. (They did disclose that fact in the disclaimer.)
